Summer Madness<\/strong> is a team-based competition on Gran Turismo 7, organized by Mach25Gaming and directed by Alejandro Garnata<\/strong>, which will take place from June 28 to July 14<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This championship is known for testing the participants\u2019 ability to adapt to track conditions that remain unknown until just seconds before the race begins.
The competition counts towards the Mach25 Ranking (category 500) and offers a total of \u20ac300 in prize money. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

2 – Participation<\/b><\/b><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

2.1 – Eligibility Requirements<\/b><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

All Gran Turismo 7 teams with an official team name, an identifying logo, and a roster of at least two drivers<\/strong> will be eligible to participate.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

2.1.1<\/strong> Each team is required to field at least two different drivers during both the group stage and the finals.<\/p>\n

2.1.1.1<\/strong> Teams are not required to register the specific drivers available to compete at the time of initial registration.<\/p>\n

2.1.1.2<\/strong> Each participating team must ensure that their drivers are available to race on the dates specified in the calendar section.<\/p>\n

2.1.1.3<\/strong> It is the responsibility of each team to ensure that none of their drivers are registered with another team.<\/p>\n

2.1.1.3.1<\/strong> No driver may be registered with two teams simultaneously. In such cases, the organization will notify both teams and provide a deadline to resolve the issue.<\/p>\n

2.1.1.4<\/strong> Teams must ensure that their drivers maintain appropriate on- and off-track behavior that aligns with the values of the competition and that they meet the minimum performance standards expected from teams competing alongside the top GT7 squads.<\/p>\n

2.1.1.4.1<\/strong> The organization reserves the right to take strict measures to prevent or address situations related to the aforementioned conduct standards.<\/p>\n

2.1.2<\/strong>
There will be no transfer window in this competition. Any team may field any driver representing them, provided that:
The driver has not previously raced with another team in this competition, and
The team complies with all driver participation regulations. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Registration is completed by correctly filling out the registration form on the Mach25Gaming.com website and is finalized with the payment of the participation fee.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

2.2.1.1<\/strong> Once registration is complete, the organization will publish the team name and their qualifying session time on the competition\u2019s official page.<\/p>\n

2.2.2<\/strong> The participation fee is \u20ac20<\/p>\n

2.2.2.1<\/strong> The participation fee will be the same for all participants.<\/p>\n

2.2.2.2<\/strong> The fee must be paid upon completing the registration. No registration will be considered complete without the payment.<\/p>\n

2.2.2.3<\/strong> If a team fails to qualify for the competition, the full participation fee will be refunded using the same payment method used during registration.<\/p>\n

2.2.2.3.1<\/strong> The participation fee will not be refunded in cases of withdrawal from the competition or partial\/total absence of the team members during the qualifying phase.<\/p>\n

2.2.3<\/strong> All teams with a guaranteed spot (see section 2.4) will have been notified in advance and will be exempt from paying the participation fee. These teams are still required to take part in the initial or qualifying phase (see competition format). <\/p>\n

2.2.3.1<\/strong> All guaranteed-entry teams must use the promo code provided to complete the free registration.<\/p>\n

2.2.4<\/strong> The organization reserves the right to reject registrations in order to preserve the spirit of the competition and ensure it is conducted in a fair and transparent manner.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Based on the results of the Infinity GSeries, 12 teams have been awarded guaranteed spots in the competition. However, they must still participate in the qualifying phase, as it contributes points toward the group stage. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

2.4.1<\/strong> These 12 teams are, in principle, composed of the top 12 finishers in the Rockets Division of the 2025 season. <\/p>\n

2.4.2<\/strong> If any team fails to make use of their guaranteed spot \u2014 whether due to disbandment or withdrawal \u2014 it will be transferred to another team, strictly following the succession order based on the 2025 Infinity GSeries results.<\/p>\n

2.4.2.1<\/strong> Teams outside the top 12 who may receive a guaranteed spot under these conditions will not be exempt from the participation fee.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The total number of participants will depend on the number of teams registered. The competition format is designed for a range of 26 to 30 teams, divided into two groups during the group stage.
If the number of teams registered for the qualifying phase is below this range, the competition will be composed of only one group (see competition format). <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

2.5.1<\/strong> Each group will have a maximum of 15 participating teams and a minimum of 13 teams.<\/p>\n

The competition is part of the Mach25Gaming Ranking, which grants access to both online and live competitions for teams and their drivers. All information related to the Mach25Gaming Ranking is available on the Mach25Gaming.com website. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

3.3.1<\/strong> The Summer Madness competition is included in the Mach25 Ranking as a Category 500 event.<\/p>\n

3.3.2<\/strong> All teams participating in the competition and qualifying phase will earn points for the Mach25Gaming Ranking based on their final positions.<\/p>\n

3.3.3<\/strong> At the end of the competition, a global ranking will be created including all participants. Teams that did not qualify for the finals will be ranked in a single division according to the points earned.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

4 – <\/b><\/b>COMPETITION FORMAT<\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThis edition of Summer Madness follows the previous format, although it incorporates some modifications aimed at improving the competitive experience for participating teams. Summer Madness is divided into 3 phases:\n– Initial phase (qualifying)\n– Group stage\n– Finals\nThe competition is characterized by how the race weather and its consequences are determined \u2014 pilots and teams do not know the weather conditions until minutes before the race starts. The weather for each race is decided by a random draw. \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

4.1 – Initial Phase (Qualifying Phase)<\/b><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

This phase serves two purposes: to award the first points of the competition to participating teams and to determine which teams advance to the group stage. All teams registered in the competition must participate in this phase. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

4.1.1<\/strong> It will take place on June 28.<\/p>\n

4.1.2<\/strong> All registered teams must select a time slot in which they wish to participate when completing the registration process (see available time slots on the competition website).<\/p>\n

4.1.2.1<\/strong> Participation slots will begin at 19:00 (CET), and if necessary, additional slots may be opened beyond those initially listed on the website.<\/p>\n

4.1.3<\/strong> All participating teams must have one driver present in the lobby at the time slot they have previously selected.<\/p>\n

4.1.3.1<\/strong> No team may participate in a different time slot than the one selected and\/or assigned without prior notice to the organization and receiving approval from it.<\/p>\n

4.1.4<\/strong> The final result of each aspiring team will be determined by the fastest lap set by the driver representing them.<\/p>\n

4.1.5<\/strong> Not participating in the qualification phase will exclude the team from the competition.<\/p>\n

4.1.6<\/strong> In the event of a tie in lap times, priority will be given to the team that set the time earlier within their participation lobby (the official lobby clock and the “fastest lap” notification shown during the live broadcast will be used as reference).<\/p>\n

4.1.6.1<\/strong> In the highly unlikely event that the tie remains unresolved, the final decision will be made through a random draw in the presence of the parties involved.<\/p>\n

4.1.7<\/strong> The duration of the event will be 10 minutes in a qualifying\/race mode.<\/p>\n

4.1.7.1<\/strong> The time to continue after completing the time will be 180 seconds.<\/p>\n

4.1.8<\/strong> The qualifying phase will take place using the combination listed below. The multiplayer lobby settings not specified in this section will be detailed in Section 7. <\/p>\n

This phase, in the default format (26 to 30 teams), divides all participants into two groups. This division is based on the results obtained in the initial phase according to the following table.
The group stage consists of two races per group (Monday and Tuesday) and an additional session called the shootout (Thursday).
The races will last 90 minutes each (endurance mode), and the shootout will be a 20-minute qualifying session that will award points and determine the starting positions for Race 2 (R2) of the group stage.
In all sessions, the track weather conditions will remain unknown until a draw is held minutes before each race to decide them. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

4.2.1 Race 1 (R1) – Group A: June 30 | Group B: July 1<\/strong><\/p>\n

4.2.1.1<\/strong>
The schedule for Race 1 will be as follows:

4.2.1.2<\/strong> All teams must have a driver on track following the schedule established in section 4.2.1.1.<\/p>\n

4.2.1.3<\/strong> Starting positions for Race 1 will be determined by the results of the initial phase.<\/p>\n

4.2.1.4<\/strong> Race 1 will last 90 minutes (endurance mode).<\/p>\n

4.2.1.5<\/strong> Points will be awarded to each team based on their final positions after the results are confirmed by the competition stewards (see scoring).<\/p>\n

4.2.1.6<\/strong> The configuration for Race 1 is established in the calendar section.<\/p>\n

4.2.2 Shootout (Groups) \u2013 July 3<\/strong><\/p>\n

4.2.2.1<\/strong>

4.2.2.2<\/strong> All teams must have a driver on track at their assigned time slot, strictly following the schedule set out in section 4.2.2.1.<\/p>\n

4.2.2.3<\/strong> The starting positions for participants in Race 2 (R2) will be determined by the results of the group Shootout.<\/p>\n

4.2.2.4<\/strong> The group Shootout will last 20 minutes in qualifying mode.<\/p>\n

4.2.2.5<\/strong> Each team will receive points based on their final positions and bonus points if they meet the key position objectives at designated moments (see scoring section).<\/p>\n

4.2.2.6<\/strong> In the event of protests, the stewards will impose time penalties applied to all laps set during the shootout, whether they occurred before or after the incident.<\/p>\n

4.2.2.7<\/strong> The group shootout schedule is established in the calendar section.<\/p>\n

4.2.3 Race 2 (R2) \u2013 Group B: July 7 | Group A: July 8<\/strong><\/p>\n

4.2.3.1<\/strong>

8. GENERAL REGULATIONS<\/b><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

8.1<\/strong> Connection<\/p>\n

8.1.1<\/strong> It will be the responsibility of all teams and participating drivers to ensure they have a connection that guarantees the smooth running of the race, so it is recommended not to be connected via Wi-Fi to the internet.<\/p>\n

8.1.2<\/strong> The organization may ban any driver or drivers whose connection is considered not to meet the parameters that guarantee the competitive session can be carried out without incidents caused by the participants’ connection quality.<\/p>\n

8.1.2.1<\/strong> Teams that have received a ban for one of their drivers may substitute a driver within 5 minutes of the notification in the game lobby.<\/p>\n

8.1.2.2<\/strong> The team is responsible for ensuring that the substitute driver has an adequate connection to participate. If not, the organization may ban their participation. <\/p>\n

8.2<\/strong> Race Regulations<\/strong><\/p>\n

8.2.1<\/strong> All teams are required to comply with the entry times set by the organization.<\/p>\n

8.2.1.1<\/strong> Given the competition format, it will be the responsibility of the teams to stay informed about any potential delays that may occur.<\/p>\n

8.2.1.2<\/strong> In the first participation shift, the lobby will open 30 minutes before the race starts, and participants must be present at least 15 minutes before the session begins. <\/p>\n

8.2.1.2.1<\/strong> Any delay may be claimed by the participating teams or the organization (officially) and will be assessed by the team of stewards.<\/p>\n

8.2.1.3 <\/span>Any driver who fails to comply with the scheduled times will receive a penalty. The severity of the penalty will depend on the seriousness of the infringement. <\/p>\n

8.2.1.3.1 <\/span>Entering the lobby after the access deadline but before the official start of the session (either the race or qualifying) will result in a 15-second penalty, which will be added to the final race time of the driver or drivers involved.<\/p>\n

8.2.1.3.2 <\/span>If, for any reason, the race start is delayed and this results in any driver or drivers entering the lobby after the scheduled session start time but before the actual start of the session, a 60-second penalty will be applied, to be added to the final race time of the driver or drivers involved.<\/p>\n

8.2.1.3.3 <\/span>Any driver who joins the lobby after the session has started, whether it is qualifying or the race, will not be allowed to participate.<\/p>\n

8.2.1.3.4 <\/span>It will be the responsibility of the participating teams to report this action after the race has ended and to provide the necessary evidence.<\/p>\n

8.2.2<\/strong> Participants will be responsible for providing the necessary tires to compete in the race in both dry and wet conditions and ensuring that all four tires are fitted with the same hardness at all times.<\/p>\n

8.2.2.1<\/strong> Using tires of different hardness at the same time will result in a 60″ penalty on the final race time.<\/p>\n

8.2.3<\/strong> The START button may not be used under any circumstances.<\/p>\n

8.2.3.1<\/strong> The use of the START button can be protested by any participating team.<\/p>\n

8.2.3.1.1<\/strong> The penalty for using the START button will be determined by the degree of harm or benefit it causes, and will never be less than 5″ and may be as much as 120″.<\/p>\n

8.2.4<\/strong> The yellow flag may not be triggered intentionally, whether during qualifying, the race, or at the finish line.<\/p>\n

8.2.4.1<\/strong> This action may be claimed by participants on the claim form and the penalty will never be less than 5″ and may reach up to 120″.<\/p>\n

8.2.5 <\/strong>The use of the handbrake for strategic or competitive purposes that are not justified by the natural dynamics of driving is strictly prohibited.
Any use of the handbrake aimed at gaining an advantage under braking, altering the vehicle\u2019s behavior during corner entry or mid-corner in an unnatural way, or exploiting game mechanics that do not reflect realistic or sportsmanlike driving situations will be considered a violation. <\/p>\n

8.2.5.1<\/strong> Its use will be permitted in situations where it is necessary to regain control of the vehicle, avoid a collision, correct a sudden oversteer, or perform any other maneuver that serves a defensive or safety-related purpose within the dynamics of the race. It will also be allowed during the start from the grid and in other specific situations deemed justifiable by the stewards. <\/p>\n

\n<\/p>

8.2.5.2<\/strong> It will be the responsibility of the teams participating in the competition to file the appropriate protest by following the procedures established for that purpose and providing the necessary details or evidence to allow the stewards to address the reported infraction.<\/p>\n

8.2.5.2.1<\/strong> The unnatural, intentional, or unjustified use of the handbrake will be penalized based on the severity of the action, the advantage gained, the repetition of the behavior, and the impact on the progression of the race. Three levels of penalties are established: <\/p>\n

8.2.5.2.1.1<\/strong> Level 1 \u2013 Minor: Applied when the use of the handbrake results in a slight or situational advantage, without causing direct harm to other drivers or significantly affecting the outcome of the action or the race. Penalty: 5 seconds <\/p>\n

8.2.5.2.1.2<\/strong> Level 2 \u2013 Moderate: Applied when the use of the handbrake results in a clear, repeated, or strategic advantage. Penalty: 10 seconds <\/p>\n

8.2.5.2.1.3<\/strong> Level 3 \u2013 Severe: Applied when the use of the handbrake seriously affects the course of the race, directly impacts other drivers, or represents intentional and systematic unsportsmanlike behavior.
Penalty: 25 seconds or more <\/p>\n

8.2.5.3<\/strong> It is prohibited to use tires of different compounds simultaneously (DQ).<\/p>\n

8.2.5.3.1<\/strong> It is the responsibility of the teams participating in the competition to submit the corresponding protest through the channels established for that purpose.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

All participants must be aware of all regulations related to the Summer Madness and advocate for their compliance. This includes both what is set forth in this document and what is established in the disciplinary code. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

9.1 On-Track Behavior<\/strong>\nAll participants must be aware of the vehicles around them and anticipate any dangerous or risky situations that may arise in order to avoid or refrain from causing them. Parallel racing lines must be respected whenever possible, except in corners where, due to their characteristics, it is impossible. <\/p>\n

9.2 Claims<\/strong>\nAny action that harms one or more drivers may be contested through the designated section on the competition\u2019s website.<\/p>\n

9.2.1<\/strong> The method used will be the protest form hosted on the competition website.<\/p>\n

9.2.2<\/strong> The deadline to submit claims for each round to the organization will be 3:00 PM (CET) on the day after the race in which the claiming team participated.<\/p>\n

9.2.2.1<\/strong> Unsportsmanlike and undisciplined behavior related to conduct that could result in disqualifications of drivers or teams due to public messages can be sent to the email contact@mach25gaming.com at any time.<\/p>\n

9.2.2.2<\/strong> The organization will take action based on the severity of the comments and the time elapsed since their publication.<\/p>\n

9.2.2.2.1<\/strong> Only comments related to issues arising within the competition and concerning its interests will be considered.<\/p>\n

9.2.3<\/strong> It is the responsibility of the claiming team to ensure that the form is filled out correctly.<\/p>\n

9.2.3.1<\/strong> Forms submitted with incorrect or incomplete information will not be processed by the stewards.<\/p>\n

9.2.4<\/strong> The summary of penalties for each round will include both the claiming teams and the penalties, if any, of the claimed teams.<\/p>\n

9.3 Disciplinary Code<\/strong>
This document contains most of the regulatory aspects of the competition and the penalty table used as a reference to assess each incident that occurs during the event. It is a general-use document in Mach25 Gaming competitions, both offline and online, so some of its content may not apply to this competition or may contradict information included in this document.
If this is the case, the organization must be informed as soon as possible; otherwise, the final decision responsibility lies with the Summer Madness stewards team. \n<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

9.4 Appeals<\/strong>\nDecisions made by the stewards may be appealed by writing to the email contact@mach25gaming.com.<\/p>\n

9.4.1<\/strong> An appeal is a resource that the organization makes available to participants to express their disagreement with the decisions made regarding penalties.<\/p>\n

9.4.2<\/strong> The organization will establish arbitration mechanisms to ensure that the appeal is received and processed solely to verify its content and the possibility of irregularities by the stewards\u2019 team.<\/p>\n

9.4.3<\/strong> Only in cases of clear and obvious error, not interpretative, will a decision by the stewards\u2019 team be modified.<\/p>\n

9.4.4<\/strong> Participating teams accept, by their participation, all decisions made by the stewards and the arbitration bodies of the competition.<\/p>\n

9.4.4.1<\/strong> No team inclined to believe that the competition may be compromised, or that part or all members of the organization might seek to benefit or harm any team or teams, should participate.<\/p>\n

9.4.4.2<\/strong> All members of the organization commit to treating all participants and the competition with the principles of equality, transparency, and legality.<\/p>\n

9.4.4.2.1<\/strong> Any public statement by a participating team or by a current or former member closely associated with it that calls into question what is stated in the previous point will be subject to evaluation for sanction by the organization, which may result in disqualification.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

10.1<\/strong> Mandatory logo\nIt is not mandatory to use any logo. However, any of the Mach25Gaming logos available on mow_david\u2019s PSN profile may be freely included. <\/p>\n

10.2<\/strong> Prohibitions\nIt is prohibited to present designs that contain offensive language, provocative content, and\/or mentions, logos, or advertising of other simracing championships or organizations, without prior approval from the organization.<\/p>\n

10.2.1<\/strong> In the event that a design contains any of the aforementioned prohibitions, it may be subject to a complaint by a team or by the organization.<\/p>\n

10.2.1.1<\/strong> If a sanction is deemed necessary, it will be applied according to the frequency of the offense.<\/p>\n

10.2.1.1.1<\/strong> The first time, the offending team’s driver will receive a 10-second penalty added to their final race time.<\/p>\n

10.2.1.1.2<\/strong> The second time, the offending team’s driver will receive a 20-second penalty added to their final race time.<\/p>\n

10.2.1.1.3<\/strong> The third time, the offending team’s driver will receive a 120-second penalty added to their final race time.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

All teams can communicate with the organization through the email contact@mach25gaming.com. The organization will try to respond quickly, though not immediately. On competition days, the email will be unavailable in the hours leading up to the round and during the races, so all participants are advised to communicate with the organization in advance.
In Alejandro Garnata’s Discord, a section related to the competition will be opened, which will include both a category for questions and another for important matters. Please use the “Questions” category for minor issues; the organization does not guarantee a response in this channel (only via email), but other users may assist.
In the “Important” category, the Superpole procedure will be notified. If this is your first time competing in the Infinity GSeries, we recommend taking the necessary time to understand this procedure and avoid irregularities. <\/p>\n

11.1 Disclaimer<\/p>\n

11.1.1 The rulebook and disciplinary code are the normative references for the competition and cannot be disputed as long as the rules are clearly and concisely written.
